Have you heard that enough already? After all, it’s already day 6 of 2011. We’re already well ensconced in it. Right?
I am. I didn’t make any real resolutions since it’s too easy to break them. But I did set some goals for the year, mostly relating to my writing. I want to write even better than I have before and sell more. Sounds simple, right?
Well, we’ll see how it goes. There are always unforeseen glitches, such as an illness in the family and things technological not cooperating.
But as I do every year, I’ve started 2011 optimistically. It’ll be a good one. Things won’t always go perfectly, but they’ll generally be fine.
Like with my writing. I’m excitedly awaiting the release of BEAGLEMANIA, the first in my new Pet Rescue Mystery series, a spinoff from my Kendra Ballantyne, Pet-Sitter Mysteries. I’m planning all sorts of things to celebrate, including a launch party in March and signings. More to come about that in my next blog post here.
Plus, I’ll have at least one more Harlequin Nocturne and Nocturne Bites published in 2011. The titles aren’t yet established–but more to come about them, too.
So even if I’ve had to surmount a few glitches already, I’m sure 2011 will be a good year for me. I hope it is for you, too.
What good things do you anticipate happening to you this year?
