We’ve got a full day of “craft” scheduled, with instructor extraordinaire Anne Frazier Walradt. Also, special guest Sascha Illyvich drops in for a chat on WRITE Sex.

Orange County Chapter RWA will meet Saturday, MARCH 12, 2011 at the Brea Community Center, at 695 E. Madison Way, on the corner of Randolph Ave. and Madison Way.

Ask-an-Author—Kara Lennox – Kara is in the midst of publishing her 3-book Project Justice series with Harlequin Super Romance. What would you like to know?
Do you have a question that a published author can answer? Then plan to come to the meeting a little bit early. Each month one or two published authors host an informal round table discussion group and you are welcome to sit in.

10:30 a.m. Morning Workshop: “Show Don’t Tell” by Anne Frazier Walradt
No doubt you’ve heard the saying before, but what does it mean?
Anne Frazier Walradt is a freelance teacher, writer and editor.  Her articles and essays have appeared in such diverse publications as Maine in Print and Romance Forever.  She has taught literature and writing on secondary and college levels.  She edited Romance Recipes for the Soul (Doubleday), which includes one of her short stories, and wrote portions of Liz Alshire’s 101 Ways You Can Help (Sourcebooks).
Anne is a member of IWWG, NJRW, RWA, and is one of the founders of Liberty States Fiction Writers.  When not freelance editing or writing articles, Anne is at work on a collection of “Bombeckian” essays (On the Home Front), a “used mother” book, and a beauty and the beast novel.

Please note: OCC/RWA will not hold a meeting in April because of the Romantic Times convention. But, we’ll be back on May 14. Stay tuned for details.
