Tomorrow, TITANIC RHAPSODY, my Titanic romance, is released from Ellora’s Cave!!

It’s been a long road to publication for this story…countless hours researching and re-writing, checking facts then checking them again…

I lived through the sinking of the ship many times and each time I’d get emotional…will my heroine, Katie O’Reilly, get into a lifeboat?

Will Captain Lord Jack Blackthorn, my hero, survive when the Titanic founders?

Then I decided, why not show you how Katie’s story unfolds on the grand ship, Titanic…

Writers write, but we also like to see our stories come alive with music, sound effects and photos. I couldn’t resist putting together this book video of my Ellora’s Cave romance, Titanic Rhapsody.

I couldn’t have done it without the lovely photos I licensed from  and the stirring Celtic music “Long Road Ahead“ from Kevin MacLeod  And my favorite FX CDs…

And most of all to Dar Albert  who designed my fabulous Titanic Rhapsody cover for Ellora’s Cave.

And yes, that’s me doing the voiceover…

Lyndi, thank you for your nice comment! Yes, Titanic Rhapsody is an old-fashioned romance. Sensual but not erotic. You could say, it's My Fair Lady meets Titanic…

Geralyn, re: research–you're so right. I poured over deck plans of the Titanic until I figured out where each character was at all times.

Not easy, since so many corridors led to dead ends and it wasn't easy to get from steerage up on top. Btw, 1st class had 3 elevators or electric lifts! 2nd class: one; steerage — you walked!

    Very nicely done, Gina!

Loved the video and the cover. This sounds like old-fashioned historical romance. Just the kind I like. 🙂

    Congratulations on your Titanic achievement.

Wow – the minute research that must have gone into that. Kudos!

Thank you so much, Geralyn! Very nice of you to comment. Titanic Rhapsody is a romance, but the moment-by-moment scenes when the Titanic is sinking show the actual times and what was happening aboard ship.

One-fourth of the book follows the characters as they face many obstacles to getting off the ship…this is a long book–125,000 words.

    Thank you again!

Jina! This blog is awesome! I love the pictures, music and your voiceover. I especially love the dates and the feeling of history. Beautifully done. What an ad for the book! What a hook!
